Over the semester I decided to expand my knowledge about the principles of Logo design to develop my branding skills and fully understand how to make aesthetic and clear logos for my projects. The first book I decided to read was Principles of Logo Design by George Bokhua. I found the book very eye-opening and made me realise that even the most simple of logos are crucial in creating a connection between the customer and the company. Bokhua also highlights that in society more companies are starting to choose modern, simplistic logos as they are more versatile and would be sustainable with up-and-coming technology interfaces. This enabled me to gain some knowledge about what companies prefer and what the current trends are regarding logo design.

I follow this designer on social media as his logos are unique and interesting, this book allowed me to understand his design thinking and his process to producing the final outcome.
